The mountain state isn’t just known for its state parks and resorts but also its rich heritage as home to the first ever organized golf club in the United States. Of course, not all the golf courses can make this claim but there is nothing to deter someone from enjoying any one of the many others as the perfect weather conditions created by the mountain attributes provides a great atmosphere to play a game of golf. Some of the grounds found here are Berry Hills, Cacapon and Brier Patch. The golf season in this state does happen to be during the baseball season.
